Finca El Paraiso is located in Gigante, Huila in Colombia and is run by Ernedis Rodriguez.  The farm sits at an elevation of approximately 1,840 meters and has 7 hectars in production of coffee. Only the ripest cherries are picked and upon arriving to the wet-mill, are floated, de-pulped and then dry-fermented for 84 hours. After washing, the coffee is then laid to dry on raised beds in greenhouse for anywhere from 18-25 days, depending on the weather.  Ernedis uses all of the industry best practices to produce consistently stellar coffee that year after year reaches its full potential.
This particular lot of coffee is a unique Sidra variety and comes from a local competition that rewards the winning lots with substantial price premiums.  This coffee placed 3rd place in this year's competition and in our eyes is a real winner.  It has wonderful citrus sweetness up front along with hints of mango and other tropical fruits.  We are overjoyed to be supporting this competition and to get to share this amazing coffee with everyone.  We have a very limited amount of this coffee from Ernedis so it won't last long but we hope everyone who wants to try this rare variety and competition worthy lot has a chance to do so.

We ship freshly roasted coffee Monday through Friday via UPS ground. Most orders placed before 2pm EST will ship same day.

Delayed, Lost or Stolen Packages

We will do our best to help troubleshoot with you, but we
cannot control what happens when your package leaves the roasting
facility. Once the package has been picked up, it is out of our hands.

Holidays, severe weather, carrier staff shortage and high package volumes are causing delays in package transit time.

As a small business, we are unable to absorb the costs of
packages being lost in transit. We cannot refund orders that are marked
as delivered with a tracking number, even if a customer is stating they
haven’t received the package.

For UPS claims, please email us at georgio@georgioscoffee.com

When checking out, *Please make sure your address is correct!*

In order to balance getting your coffee out to
you as quickly as possible with freshness of roast we ship all coffee as
ordered within one week of the roast date. We typically roast
Wednesdays and Fridays.

In our experience most coffees
taste best after a few days rest, and high quality coffees stay at peak
flavor up to six weeks post roast.
